This winegrowing estate has been in business since 1697. Certified organic, with horse-drawn ploughing, François Schmitt makes his wines mainly on the slopes of the Bollenberg and Grand Cru Pfingstberg. Since 2014, he has added the Zinnkoepflé Grand Cru. The vines now cover a total of 13 ha. Pinot noir and gewurztraminer are the main grape varieties grown.
