The first aromas set the tone. Spices and exotic fruits (pepper, mango). It's a journey to warm lands. On the palate, the wine plays soft music. It wants to be greedy, to be desired. The spices come through on the finish to give this cuvée its height. It has a very long finish, like a sweet that you keep under your tongue.

Domaine François Schmitt

This winegrowing estate has been in business since 1697. Certified organic, with horse-drawn ploughing, François Schmitt makes his wines mainly on the slopes of the Bollenberg and Grand Cru Pfingstberg. Since 2014, he has added the Zinnkoepflé Grand Cru. The vines now cover a total of 13 ha. Pinot noir and gewurztraminer are the main grape varieties grown.
