A family estate since 1880, Château de Clapier is located in the commune of Mirabeau. Thomas Montagne took over the estate in 1995 and now works 34 hectares of HVE 3 (high environmental value) certified vines. It is unique in that it is the only estate to use the Pinot Noir grape variety in the Luberon appellation area. It even benefits from an exemption to use it in its blends until 2038 (the 50th anniversary of the PDO).
