This vintage has a lemon-gold color with golden highlights. The nose is marked by ripe fruit, brioche, pastry and yellow fruit tart. The mousse is powerful, with round bubbles. Rich and greedy, the palate continues with stone fruits, ripe mango and a touch of honey and even gingerbread. The finish is not very long, but balanced between sweet and bitter.

This is the generic name of the champagnes sold by the cooperative winery created in 1956 by 22 members in Colombé-le-Sec. However, Charles Clément was the name of the founding member. Nowadays, it is composed of 59 winemakers harvesting 110 hectares spread on the slopes around Bar-sur-Aube.
