Gault&Millau's review
Launois Père et Fils was founded in 1872. Since then, the business has been handed down from father to son and daughter. Séverine and Caroline Launois are the eighth generation. Harvesting and handling, the family estate covers 30 hectares of vines and produces around 200,000 bottles. A vine and wine museum was created 36 years ago and is open to visitors, as is a château in Villers-aux-Bois where the family still lives. Lunch is available at the museum and château, subject to reservation.
