The golden color with light copper highlights draws the eye to this vintage composed of 30% Chardonnay and 70% Pinot Noir. A beautiful evolution is revealed on the nose, with scents of mirabelle plums, candied citrus fruit, puff pastry and hints of patina, almost waxy. Then the palate unfolds and gains in power with rich buttery, honeyed notes. Perfect with shredded oxtail in jelly.

This family business has been established in Pierry for four generations. Founded by Abel Bouché in 1920 with a single hectare, it now operates a 30-hectare vineyard spread over nine Champagne villages. This geographical spread (much of which is Premier Cru and Grand Cru) lends the range an aromatic complexity due to the diversity of soils and climates. The current owners, José and Nicolas Bouché, continue to respect the family spirit that reigns in the bubbles of their champagnes. Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats, and bottle ageing lasts between four and ten years for the seven cuvées in the range. The estate welcomes you free of charge.
