This cuvée is a blend of 3 grape varieties: 50% Chardonnay, 25% Pinot Noir and 25% Pinot Meunier. The nose gives off hints of blond honey, lily, yellow lemon and toasted hazelnuts. The palate is supple and taut, with a slight astringency giving added depth to the fine bubbles. The nutty finish would suit cashew and coriander-crusted chicken fillets with olive oil and lime.

The vineyard which covers around 5 ha spread over 26 plots is located in Chigny-les-Roses, a village nestled on the hillside, on the Montagne de Reims. The grapes of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay are coming from Chigny-les-Roses, Rilly-la-Montagne and Ludes (Premier Cru). Patrice Tixier is in favour of ageing his vintage cuvées six years in the cellar, and 3 years for the rest of production. The estate is certified HVE and Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne.
