To celebrate the 60th anniversary of La Môme's death, Hotel Padam and its restaurant have planned several high-flying celebrations. Here's how to join in the festivities!

60 years after her death, Paris continues to pay tribute to Édith Piaf. On the occasion of Édith Piaf's death in 1963, the Padam hotel and restaurant are hosting a special eventa special event celebrating the life and legacy of "La Môme". It's a tribute to the many links between the French singer and the Parisian establishment.

Three evenings in the shoes of Edith Piaf

It was on an afternoon in 1963, on October 10 to be precise, that Edith Piaf died at the age of 47, following a ruptured aneurysm. Sixty years on, France has not forgotten her, and celebrates more than ever this emblematic icon of French chanson. To this end, the Hôtel Padam, located in the heart of the City of Light, is organizing a series of three exceptional evenings on Tuesday December 19, Wednesday December 20 and Thursday December 21.

And why? Because the hotel and the artist share many common bonds. For example, the singer began her career in the Belleville district, where the Padam cabaret is located. She also lived at 5 rue Paul Valery, in a brothel, a 10-minute walk from the hotel (we counted!). And to top it all off, Edith Piaf's last address was a private mansion on Boulevard Lannes, just a stone's throw from the Padam.

To get a glimpse of the artist's crazy life, come along to one (or all) of the Piaf evenings, between 7pm and 10:30pm! On the program: dishes emblematic of the Piaf era, non-alcoholic cocktails such as "La Vie en Rose," or the inevitable "Americano", and entertainment by singer Louisa Metaireau, who will perform French songs, including emblematic Edith Piaf covers.

Plates will include eggs mimosa or leeks with mustard vinaigrette, "Bœuf Ficelle," scallops au gratin and vanilla rice pudding for dessert.

Piaf evenings are open to all, with no advance payment and no set menu. It's all part of a celebration of the life and unforgettable legacy of Edith Piaf that will leave you with unforgettable, emotionally-charged memories.

"Brittany is home to 700 speciesof seaweed, around thirty of which are authorized for consumption. Each has a unique flavor, texture and color.
