From February 17 to March 3, 2024, the Fête du Citron® will bring the town of Menton to life. Here's the best Gault&Millau address to book now.

With over 200,000 visitors each year, Menton's Fête du Citron® is one of the city's must-see cultural events. For over 15 days, the corsos (citrus floats) will color and enchant the town. Between two festivities, you'll need to take a meal break...

Rendezvous at Mirazur

We'd love to have compiled a complete and eclectic list of the best places to eat in Menton, but in truth, the address dear to Gault&Millau in the town of Jean Cocteau is that of chef Mauro Colagreco. At the foot of the mountains, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, the setting is ideal for dining and enjoying a 4-toque experience. The good news? There are still a few tables available. Here's our review:

Nature is beautiful because it knows that here it is respected. So when a chef as media-savvy as Mauro Colagreco (and his teams) doesn't hesitate to reach for the moon to offer a back-to-basics experience, we're happy to oblige. Read more

A "Carnival of citrus" menu

To celebrate the Fête du Citron®, Mauro Colagreco is offering a 6-course "all-citrus" menu. The chef will be cooking all the varieties available in his gardens, and those of the small producers he continues to work with. Highlights include a Menton lemon with Mediterranean shellfish (scallops and sea urchin), a fully boned pigeon stuffed with peasant-style meat, pistachios and citron, and a dessert based on homemade yogurt with natural ferments, accompanied by a declension of orange.

A "citrus" menu will also be available at the Pecoranegra pizzeria in Menton and the Casa Fuego Argentinean grill.
