Virginie T.
This Sillery-based house was founded in 2008 by Virginie Taittinger and her son, Ferdinand Pougatch. They craft their cuvées by sourcing from the finest harvesters in the Montagne de Reims and Côte des Blancs regions, and also own Grand Cru-classified vineyards in the Montagne de Reims at Verzenay, Verzy and Louvois. Long awaited on the lees, the house champagnes are produced in limited quantities. The broad range features Pinot Noir from premier and grand crus, which makes up the majority of the blends. The chardonnay for the blanc de blancs grand cru comes from Cramant and Mailly, where chardonnay is said to "pinote". Established in June 2024 in the grand cru village of Verzenay, Maison Virginie T. can now welcome guests in the village's iconic "Cube" building, or at Château de Challerange in Taissy.
