Domaines Bunan
The Moulin des Costes, a 30-hectare terroir acquired in 1961, is the Bunan estates' first anchorage, enabling them to create characterful blends for a Bandol of great tradition. The restanques, open to the Mediterranean, are typical of the appellation, with 45-year-old Mourvèdre and Grenache vines. Château la Rouvière, the second estate, dominates a hillside of steep, south-facing restanques. Owned by the family since 1969, this 21-hectare vineyard, planted with the five grape varieties characteristic of the appellation, is rich in 50-year-old vines.
