Delouvin Nowack
Champagne Delouvin Nowack is located in the small commune of Vandières, with 7.5 hectares of vines. Coming from a family history that juggled winemakers and coopers, the brand was launched in 1949 taking its name from both parents of the current owner Bertrand. The clay-limestone slopes of the Marne Valley offer the vineyards focussed mainly on the grape variety Meunier, which is, therefore, the base of the champagnes of this house, with one hectare of Chardonnay. The domain is converting the vineyards to an organic model and uses no herbicides or insecticides, the soils are ploughed and rows sown with cover crops. Maturation time has increased in the cellar while the dosage level has decreased at disgorgement.
