Country flowers, warm cookie and apricot pulp aromas make up a classic but effective nose. On aeration, jasmine and honeysuckle emerge. Small bubbles, acidity and sweetness balance out in an enticing body of yellow fruit and spice aromas. Slight bitters on the finish add a salivating touch.

de Villepin

This 7-hectare estate was taken over in 1999 by Bruno de Villepin, who set about developing environmentally-friendly viticulture, notably by grassing down the majority of the vineyard. Level 3 HVE (high environmental value) and VDC (sustainable viticulture in Champagne) certifications were obtained in 2018, and steps are now being taken towards organic conversion. The vineyard is 100% permaculture. Since 2023, the estate has used only indigenous yeasts. Part of the harvest is vinified in barrels, and the wines are marketed one year after disgorgement. The domaine also produces a red coteaux-champenois.
