De Barfontarc
In 1962, a group of fifty winegrowers joined forces to build their own Champagne house, Barfontarc, a contraction of the Aube villages of Baronville, Fontaine and Arconville. Sixty years later, the grandchildren of the founders are still driven by the same passion, and the desire to surpass themselves remains intact. Here, every effort is made to express the personality and originality of their terroir, the Côte des Bars. Over the years, Barfontarc has developed a wide range of fruity wines, typical of the southern Champagne terroir and produced from the 125 ha of vines owned by its members.
