Deep mineral nose, with flinty gunpowder notes, and restrained, savoury, concentrated yellow and white fruits (mirabelle, pear). Powerful bubbles and mousse tingle from the saline palate, salivating and savoury, with strong minerality, sour grapefruit and waxy lemon citrus peel, with a balancing Extra Brut dosage (4g/l). These Bouzy Grand Cru Chardonnay single parcel vines were plated in 1966, producing elegant concentration. A refreshing Montagne de Reims Blanc de Blancs for a statement aperitif, but the power demands a seat at the table.
