Chef's Restaurant This atypical address was opened in April 2023 by a young couple, Lucie (alone in the dining room) and Charles (alone in the kitchen), a few minutes from the center of Limogne-en-Quercy, on the border of Aveyron and Tarn-et-Garonne. They have transformed a derelict farmhouse into a contemporary restaurant with a comfortable, if not welcoming, setting. Their approach: the meat (Aubrac or Salers beef, Quercy lamb, etc.) comes from the slaughterhouse on the carcass to be matured, cut up and prepared on site, without any intermediaries. You'll enjoy starters that focus on offal (if it's still on the menu, don't pass up the confit beef tongue, which is even better than the head-and-tongue croquettes) and, for the main course, meaty fir-smoked lamb chops, or, as a suggestion that evening, a perfectly matured and cooked Aubrac chop on the bone. Accompanied by eggplant confit (why not?) and, above all, fries cooked in beef fat to tears. Finally, for dessert, a memorable coffee cream, which adds to the other pleasures, the country bread baked over a wood fire, from a baker at Viguié in Villefranche de Rouergue, the remarkable wine list, notably through its wide selection and price range...
