Chef's Restaurant Welcome to A ma Façon: creative, seasonal cuisine made with love. The large slate in front of the restaurant entrance sums up Felix de Graauw and Yanne Boisteault's project. In Grenoble's hypercentre, on the bobo side, the small room with its mezzanine welcomes regulars who know that the contract will be fulfilled. No fuss, the menu is short, but changes regularly to keep up with the seasons. The Promenade automnale en forêt (Autumnal walk in the forest) is a visual feast with pickled shitaké, brown moelleux, meringues, brown mousse and chocolate cookie chips. It's very airy, the flavors stand out well from one another, and the pickles add relief to the dish. Filet of well-cooked duckling, rosée, beetroot-blueberry jus and parsnip declension. The beet is not too pronounced and its combination with the blueberry offers a welcome sweet-and-sour variation. The wine cellar isn't over the top either, but the bottles are judiciously chosen with a focus on organic produce. Cheerful, dynamic service.
