Baptiste VERGÈS-BARRE
"I've always loved to entertain, to share and to make people happy in my home," says Baptiste Vergès-Barre. That's how he enrolled at the Vatel school in Nîmes, and completed several internships at Hôtel Le Roi Théodore in Porto-Vecchio, then at Lebua Hotels and Resorts in Bangkok.
After a summer season at Villa Duflot, Perpignan, he joined Les Sources de Caudalie, Martillac, as chef de rang, in the midst of the Covid epidemic."We managed to do five-course meals in the room! "In 2021, he returned to Villa Duflot, where he caught the eye of the Gault&Millau investigators. In 2022, he was surprised to receive the Jeune Talent Service en Salle Occitanie trophy. Since August 2022, Baptiste Vergès-Barre has been working at La Passerelle, Perpignan, as Maître d'hôtel.
