Ruinart and its partner chefs organize exclusive dinners

Ruinart and its partner chefs organize exclusive dinners

Mathieu Dubus | 7/2/24, 4:08 PM

The famous champagne house from Reims organizes six dinners to present a new cuvée. Three Ruinart Blanc Singulier chefs are offering unique menus for the occasion.

Three houses, three chefs are responsible for creating unique menus to mark the release of Ruinart's latest cuvée. One of France's oldest champagne houses has just revealed its "Edition 19". In particular, it explains its efforts to adapt to the novelties imposed by the needs of nature and climate.

Summer dinners with different terroirs

The first dinners have already taken place, at the La Chassagnette restaurant (2 toques), in Arles. Chef-gardener Armand Arnal uses a large proportion of the produce he grows for his menus. For Ruinart Blanc Singulier, he has created a pairing with zucchini flower stuffed with goat's milk brousse.

Chef Éric Guérin, based in Saint-Joachim, in the Brière nature park, is also organizing two dinners. The first took place on June 20, 2024, and the second, for which reservations are still open, will take place on July 11, 2024. The chef, known for his auteur cuisine at La Mare aux Oiseaux (3 toques), has also taken up the Ruinart challenge.

Heading for the Côte d'Azur, to the recently renovated Hôtel Le Mas Candille. Chef Romain Antoine will be offering his menu on July 18 and 19, 2024. To accompany the latest vintage, he has chosen a dish of langoustine ravioli, accompanied by a cream of zucchini, lemon confit and basil.
The wine and food pairing menu is priced at 320 euros per person.

If you'd like to enjoy these gastronomic experiences in a class of their own, you can reserve a place on one of the last three evenings.

  • When? July 11, 2024 Where? 223 rue du Chef de l'Île, 44720, Saint-Joachim
  • When? July 18 and 19, 2024 Where? At Le Mas Candille hotel, 172 boulevard Clément Beruffel, 06250 Mougins

Rhubarb emerges from the shadows

The queen of rustic pies and crumbles, rhubarb is best enjoyed as a fruit, whereas it is a vegetable. This original plant leaves behind its old-fashioned trappings to spice up the most creative dishes and awaken both sweet and savory palates. One of the first spring vegetables, but the most recent to hit our plates, it's making a name for itself time and time again.
