From Île-de-France to Saumur, Montlouis-sur-Loire and Chinon, our selection of tasted and approved Chenin cuvées.

IGP Ile de France Chenin bio, Cuvée Le Grand Lever, Domaine La Bouche du Roi, 2023

32 € approx.
It's in Davron, in the Yvelines, that three passionate young winemakers have decided to revive the rich winegrowing past of the Ile-de-France region. This cuvée offers aromas of grapefruit, quince and citrus fruit, with a real tonicity on the palate. A clean, acidic texture with hints of iodine, bringing real freshness.

Grand Lever La Haie Longue

Anjou blanc, Cuvée La Haie Longue, Domaine Drost, 2022

around €30
This white wine, with its delicate nose and aromatic purity, is made by newcomers to the region! Nils and Ombretta Drost, who settled here in 2021, look after their certified organic and biodynamic vineyard. This cuvée, with its aromas of white peach, aniseed and smoky tea, leaves a mineral yet airy sensation on the palate. A pretty finish of salinity and bitters.

Saumur white, Clos de l'Ecotard, 2022

around €30.
A full-bodied, aromatic expression of Chenin. The sensual opulence of the fruit on the nose continues on the palate, with its roundness perfectly balanced by uprightness and salinity. A salivating, delicate finish.

Ecotard Amphorae

Savennières, Cuvée Amphorae, Domaine Loïc Mahé, 2021

37€ approx.
Natural fermentation in amphorae or sandstone eggs for this cuvée with a lovely acidic nose of yellow peach and quince. On the palate, we like the balance between freshness and substance. A long finish of bitters and minerality. A very pretty white.

Savennières-Roche aux Moines, Domaine aux Moines, 2022

42€ approx.
Tessa Laroche creates chiseled cuvées from her unique Roche aux Moines terroir. The proof is in the white, with its magnificent nose, opulent, sensual and unquestionably straightforward and clean. On the palate, it's the wine's luminosity that shines through, and with aeration, praline is added to white fruit notes, and the finish leaves a salivating trail of delicate bitters. A real delight!

Domaine Aux Moines Domaine Des Bernard

Chinon blanc, Cuvée La Côte, Domaine des Bernard, 2022

26€ approx.
2022 marks the first vintage for this confidential cuvée, with its emphasis on finesse and delicate bitterness. On the palate, aromas of peach, citrus, quince and floral notes are found in a beautiful, opulent body. A gourmet cuvée.

Montlouis, Cuvée Clef de Sol, Domaine La Grange Tiphaine, 2023

24€ approx.
Damien and Coralie Delecheneau, well known and recognized, offer us a chiselled, taut, mineral Chenin. This cuvée unveils aromas of citrus, flowers and honey, leaving the palate with a delicate texture of fruit and tension. A salivating, chic finish!

Clef De Sol Ronceray Les Zersiles

Anjou blanc, Cuvée Ronceray Les Zersiles, Domaine Patrick Baudouin, 2020

52€ approx.
A sensation of sensuality and opulence of fruit and substance for this great Anjou, with notes of apricot, candied fruit and flowers that envelop the palate, while remaining straightforward, precise and mineral. Generous, luminous and delicate, this cuvée deserves to take its time to fully enjoy.
