Winemaker
Château de Carles is a concentrate of Bordeaux history. To express the best that the 18 ha of terroir at the Château, owned by his wife Constance (née Chastenet de Castaing), could produce, Stéphane Droulers created the Cuvée Haut-Carles in 1994. The Fronsac appellation is well known to wine-lovers, but has no Grand Cru. But if there were to be one, it would undoubtedly be Haut-Carles! This grand vin is worthy of rivaling its prestigious Saint-Émilion neighbors.
